Marketing & Communication Partner - Maternity Cover

Copenhagen Maersk Offshore Wind Apply before: 2026-04-10

Are you a Communication or Marketing professional with a broad scope and hands-on experience across the full spectrum of corporate communications? Would you like to play an active role in positioning a company that is expanding into the renewables industry, while developing strategic communications to support business transformation and growth?

Then this might be your opportunity.

We are looking for a Marketing and Communication Partner (temporary maternity cover) to join our commercial team and support a wide range of internal and external communication activities. This role offers an exciting, brand building journey, with exposure to everything from corporate storytelling, media handling and multi-channel marketing, to internal engagement and leadership communication.

What We Offer
This is not just a temporary role, it is an opportunity to gain broad, end‑to‑end experience in corporate communications within an international, fast‑moving organization operating in exciting offshore and renewable industries.

From day one, you will be entrusted with real responsibilities and work closely with experienced colleagues who will support your development. You will have the chance to contribute across all areas of communication and marketing, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys working with a broad palette, wants to build a strong portfolio, and grow professionally.

You will join the commercial team working in an informal, dynamic, and international environment. We value curiosity, collaboration, and new ideas, and we encourage you to take initiative and actively shape Maersk Offshore Wind’s communications agenda.

We are proud of our diversity and see it as a genuine source of strength. New perspectives and different ways of doing things are always welcome.

We are owned by A.P. Moller Holding, operating independently with the trust and empowerment to do what is right for us, while proudly bearing the Maersk name and values. With that said, we are also a “startup” with all the opportunities and challenges that brings.

What You Will Be Doing
As Communication Partner, you will support and contribute across a wide range of activities, including:

  • Supporting the planning and execution of external and internal communications, from strategic initiatives to day‑to‑day updates
  • Researching, identifying, and drafting content for digital channels, social media, and internal platforms
  • Developing, updating, and maintaining commercial and corporate branded materials, presentations, and visual assets
  • Supporting media handling, including drafting media statements and preparing communication material ahead of announcements
  • Assisting with project coordination, such as major industry conferences, working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors or consultants
  • Building and maintaining strong internal relationships across functions such as operations, commercial, technical, safety, HR, and vessel crews
  • Supporting leadership and employee communication initiatives to ensure engagement, clarity, and alignment

This role requires flexibility and a willingness to support where needed — you will have responsibility across all elements of corporate communication.

Who You Are
First and foremost, you are curious, motivated, and eager to learn. You enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment and are comfortable juggling different tasks and priorities.

Ideally, you can say yes to most of the following:

  • You hold a degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field, with some relevant experience (e.g. 3–5 years) from corporate communications, media, marketing, or similar, and preferably with experience from the offshore wind industry
  • You have excellent writing skills and are fluent in both written and spoken English (Danish is not required)
  • You understand how to tailor messages to different audiences and channels and enjoy finding and telling a good story
  • You are a team player with a proactive, flexible mindset and a willingness to take ownership
  • You have an interest in design and visual communication and can translate ideas into clear, professional materials
  • You have hands‑on experience with digital communication channels, including social media
  • You are comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint, and ideally have experience with Adobe tools or web platforms (e.g. WordPress) — or are eager to learn

Most importantly, you are open to learning across all areas, comfortable supporting a broad agenda, and motivated by development rather than routine.

How to Apply
If you can imagine yourself in this role, we look very much forward to hearing from you. Please apply through our website no later than 10 April 2026. We will review and interview on an ongoing basis. If you have any questions about the position, you are welcome to reach out to Tanja Hedager.
