Operations Manager

In the role as Operations Manager, you will have the overall responsibility for the day-to-day work of the WTIV. You will work side by side with the Project Manager to meet client demands according to project deliveries on key projects, including management of vessel operations, subcontractor management, helicopter operations, profit and loss (P&L) management, performance & service quality excellence, and customer interaction. Key responsibilities:
Your primary role will be to ensure effective operations in North America, focusing on cost and efficiency improvements while ensuring staff performance. This will involve:
- Create procedures for our innovative WTIV design and participate in tasks from the building phase through to vessel operations starting in 2026.
- Ensure successful end- to-end contract execution and act as focal point for operational planning.
- Manage all aspects of day-to-day vessel operation.
- Ensure long term planning of vessel operation including but not limited to manning, maintenance, HSEQ and performance.
- Stakeholder management of all departments contributing to vessel performance.
- Work effectively in project teams.
- Support the project manager on project needs.
- Enable collaboration between offshore and onshore personnel activities.
- Provide all needed support for the Masters and Chief Engineers on matters relating to safe and efficient operation.
- Drive P&L performance and play a key role in the daily management of the business.
- Take lead on vessel related initiatives with cross-functional support, including coordination across the project HSE, Security, Technical, Crewing, Compliance, Operational Excellence, Legal, Commercial, and Financial functions.

- You have a background in managing marine assets and suppliers, along with expertise in project planning and budget management within the offshore wind installation sector.
- You thrive in fast-paced settings, adeptly managing multiple stakeholders to achieve common project goals. Your positive attitude and collaborative skills are crucial, as the Operations Manager connects all functions and serves as the focal point for vessel operations.
- You are skilled at making informed decisions based on input from various stakeholders and are comfortable doing so.
- You are eager to learn, take ownership of your responsibilities, and are not afraid to challenge the status quo when necessary. You understand that progress often requires new approaches.
- You have good English skills, both written and verbal, and feel comfortable working in a multicultural setting.
- The role requires extensive travel to operational regions.
- All applicants must be eligible to travel to the United States of America.
- Visits to vessels will be conducted via helicopter, requiring candidates to undergo HUET training.
