The Contract Manager position is new within the commercial team and gives the opportunity to make it your own and impact the team.
As our new Contract Manager, you will be in close contact with internal and external stakeholders giving you the opportunity to build a strong network across functions and develop your personal and professional skills even more.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will become a part of the Commercial team in our HQ. Some international travel is required to attend customer meetings and negotiations. Your responsibilities will be to:
- Negotiate new contracts as part of a combined Maersk Offshore Wind team from start to finish.
- Coordinate and develop all contract input for bids and tenders with internal stakeholders before submission.
- Handover the contract to the operational team and assist with managing the commercial aspects of the contracts during execution.
- Stay updated on market developments and how they impact contractual terms and conditions.
- Take part in the further development and strategic initiatives of the Commercial team.
Who we are looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with complex negotiations and contracts – preferably from the offshore wind or the oil and gas industry. Knowledge of BIMCO Supply Time is essential.
- Your educational background is not as important as your business/commercial sense and your flair for the operational aspects of this line of business.
- Strong commercial mindset and analytical skills with an ability to quickly and concisely assess commercial risks and explain these to internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive to execute complex transactions of significant value with our customers and experience in negotiating in pressured and high value environments.
- You can work at a high level of independence and are comfortable working with commercial contracts in pressured environments and as part of multi discipline teams.
- You must have the ability to build, maintain and manage close relationships with internal stakeholders, customers and partners.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- You are fluent in written and spoken English.
